Delete your account
This deletes your Doggolos account for good. It doesn't cancel a subscription: that's billed by Google Play or the App Store, so cancel it there first if you have one.
Use the form at the bottom of this page. An email, a code, done. The app doesn't have a delete button yet, so this page is the way.
How it works
- Enter the email address of your Doggolos account and tap Send code.
- Enter the code we email you. That's how we check it's you.
- Your account is deleted straight away.
If you can't get the code, email support@doggolos.app and we'll reply within one month.
If you look after a household
If you look after a household that other people are in, your account can't be deleted until that is sorted out. Email support@doggolos.app and we'll help.
What is deleted
Your account (email address, display name and password), your memberships of any household and any invitations you sent, and the record of the terms you accepted. Copies in our providers' backups are overwritten as those backups roll over.
What is kept
- If you've been in a household with other people, its dogs and dates stay with them. They belong to the household, not to you. Things you logged stay in the history as "a former member".
- Billing records, if you ever pay for Doggolos. Google, Apple and our subscription provider keep these for as long as the law and their own policies require.
- Emails you have sent us, which stay in our support mailbox until we delete them. Ask us to delete them if you like.
Whatever you enter, the next step looks the same, so this page can't be used to find out whether an address has an account.
